ANBERNIC’s penchant for trying out unique approaches to Android-based gaming hardware knows no bounds, and even though the brand does borrow some familiar design concepts from time to time, it should be said that it still knows how to wow retro gaming fans. Take for example the new ANBERNIC RG Rotate , which puts a new “twist” on portable gaming. While it’s not something that we haven’t seen before, it’s rare to see modern gaming handhelds incorporate such designs. In the case of the RG Rotate however, it does make for an incredibly compact handheld especially when you hide away the controls. You’re getting a 3.5-inch IPS display in front, which is encased in a chassis which is made from aluminum and plastic (full aluminum on the silver version), along with a full set of controls. It’s not meant to be a performance powerhouse however, as the Rotate runs on a Unisoc Tiger T618 processor, which is accompanied by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, and powered by a 2000mAh battery.…
