Chase Claypool is giving it another crack at the NFL. Claypool, who has not played an NFL snap since January 2024, is participating in the Packers’ rookie minicamp on a tryout basis to try to get back into the league. The tryout camp, which lasts two days, is the 27-year-old’s first shot to make an impression with an NFL team. “He’s had some great film out there,” Packers head coach Matt LaFleur told reporters after practice, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel . “He’s been productive and he looks like he’s in great shape. And he’s big. We’ll see how it goes.” Claypool found himself out of the league for the 2025 season after being released by the Bills a year prior due to a toe injury during training camp.
