Olivia Rodrigo Hosts And Debuts Song With Weyes Blood <em>SNL</em>

Olivia Rodrigo made her third appearance on Saturday Night Live tonight, pulling double duty in her hosting debut. There were some surprise guests, including Aziz Ansari and Weyes Blood. Blondie legend Debbie Harry introduced Rodrigo's first performance which was "drop dead," America's current #1 song. It was staged like she was singing beneath a cemetery. Recent SNL host Connor Storie introduced the second song "begged" which Rodrigo sang while sitting on a swing. It's the ballad she debuted in LA last weekend with Weyes Blood's Natalie Mering, but no videos from the show were allowed so this was its proper debut. (The track was previously rumored to be titled "better luck next time.") Mering was one of three singers backing Rodrigo for SNL — her debut on the show. In her monologue, Rodrigo joked about working with Jake Paul on Bizaardvark and sang a "drivers license" sequel about REAL ID. The first sketch was an imagined 1983 TV drama called Edge Of Destiny that had cast members falling down stairs.…
