Butler urges states to ‘get on’ with NDIS overhaul

Health Minister Mark Butler has called on the states to step up and provide services for the one in five people who will be kicked off the NDIS as part of the biggest overhaul in the scheme’s history . The Labor frontbencher also sought to reassure disabled Australians, insisting the development of the new eligibility standards – based on degree of impairment rather than a diagnosis – will be done in consultation with the community.
