What do you see in these three totem-like images? Whatever you see changes with the viewing distance. Some patterns might look hilarious or terrifying to some.

The images are just cropped sections of the original image I posted in my previous post, except that they are colored differently, with the last two with their colors inverted. By changing one or a few parameters, new totems can be generated.

Original images were at high resolution sizes so to fit this page, these were resized, placed next to each other, and a screen shot taken. To better view the images, you may want to open the screen shot in a new tab and play with zooming in and out or changing the viewing distance (1, 2, 3, 4…feets). This exercise can be addictive to some.
