While electric vehicles often steal the spotlight when it comes to looks and performance, it should be said that a lot of work goes into what makes them tick. With that in mind, industrial mobility veteran Eaton recently announced that it’s partnered with Munich Electrification towards the development of more advanced power distribution, protection, and battery management technologies for electric vehicles (EVs). The team-up essentially combines Eaton’s electrified power distribution and protection hardware with Munich Electrification’s battery management systems, electronics, and embedded software. The agreement creates a preferred supplier relationship between the two which covers light-duty, commercial, and off-highway vehicle applications.
