Just paid for a new roof. Should I ask my roofer to fix this problem, or is it just cosmetic? Hey all, I’m a first time homeowner who is in the middle of having a roof installed, with new mounts for solar. Overall, it looks like a solid job so far (I’ll include pictures). But I did spot a couple of potential concerns. Hoping to get feedback from professionals about whether I should bring this up with my roofer, or if it’s not something I should worry about. 1) There is an area near the edge of the roof where it looks like someone may have stepped and crushed the shingles (I will include an image for a reference). Is this just a cosmetic issue, or something that I should bring up with my roof roofer because it might cause a problem down the line? 2) My contract, says that the mounts for my solar system will be fully flashed. But since the shingles are already installed, is it even possible for the roofer to fully flash the mounts at this point?…
