Oscar-winning Green Book producer Charles B. Wessler has scored his next project and it’s a bit of a surprise. Wessler is EPing a Scottish documentary about soccer team Partick Thistle, which will land on STV later this month. One Team in Glasgow , which is directed by three-time Emmy nominee Sam Neave , provides no holds barred access to this small but mighty soccer club, which has a surprisingly large following in the States. Partick Thistle is based in the city of Glasgow, which is home to the two titans of Scottish football, Rangers and Celtic. The doc will show how this soccer club has stood the test of time as a welcoming, community-driven alternative. Filmed behind-the-scenes from the dressing rooms to the board rooms, between the pubs and the terraces, it is a four-part rollercoaster journey of Partick’s latest season.
