Senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi. (Express Photo) Senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi was admitted to Medanta Hospital in Gurgaon on Wednesday morning for a minor medical procedure, hospital sources have said. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding her admission or the nature of the procedure. Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh said Gandhi visited the hospital for a routine check-up. “She is now back home,” he said, PTI quoted. In March, the 79-year-old Congress leader was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital following complaints of vomiting and nausea. At the time, Dr Ajay Swaroop, Chairman, Ganga Ram Hospital, had said investigations were being conducted to find if there is any infection in the stomach. In June last year, she was taken to Indira Gandhi Medical College Hospital in Shimla after she complained of high blood pressure, a party functionary had said, while she was on a personal visit to the state with her daughter Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.…
