Famed film, television, and video-game composer Bear McCreary has announced his return to the world of rock and metal with his upcoming album  The Singularity: Ekleipsis , out Juy 31st via Sparks & Shadows Records. The album features a bevy of guest stars across its 15 tracks, including Alissa White-Gluz (Blue Medusa, ex-Arch Enemy), Patrick Stump (Fall Out Boy), Claudio Sanchez (Coheed and Cambria), Slash and Duff McKagan (Guns N’ Roses), Jens Kidman (Meshuggah), Stewart Copeland (The Police), Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), and more. In advance of the follow up to his 2024 album The Singularity , McCready has released both the overture as well as first single “Black Box” featuring Gojira frontman Joe Duplantier and the women’s choir the Mystery of the Bulgarian Voices.
