What has Alphabet executives working nights? They’re up hawking debt.

The Google parent has embarked on a four-month, nearly $60 billion borrowing spree that ranks as one of the biggest-ever corporate binges. To get the job done, it’s selling debt in euros, pounds, Swiss francs and dollars, both American and Canadian. Earlier this week, company executives stayed up through the night to pitch Tokyo investors on yen bonds.
