HDMI Feed to HA Dash

I saw u/yellowfin35 awesome remote setup and i was kinda jealous. So i made my own with some things i had laying around.

What you need:

- hdmi splitter

- hdmi2av converter

- usb av screen grabber

- some sort of server (or pi etc)

One output of the hdmi splitter goes to the tv and the other to the hdmi2av converter and from that to the usb screengrabber which is connected to my windows server. There it runs ffmpeg and mediamtx to create a stream i can add in ha.

It works pretty well with very little lag.

Of course its no hd stream.

If you have a receiver wich can connect to ha you can make it switch inputs etc.
