I built an app because group chats are terrible at planning hangouts

We've all been there. Someone drops a "we should hang out soon 🙌" in the group chat. Twenty reactions, zero follow-through. The message gets buried under memes and voice notes, and three weeks later you're still "figuring out a date." We built FOMO Social to solve this. What it is FOMO Social is a focused app for organizing real-world hangouts. Not another messaging app, not a calendar, not a polls-in-WhatsApp workaround. You create an activity (dinner, hike, game night, etc), set a time and place, pick a capacity, and invite the right people. That's it. No noise. A few things I'm proud of: Circles: Organize your contacts by vibe (gym crew, uni friends, coworkers) so you're always inviting the right group. Recurring activities: Set up your weekly coffee run once and it handles itself. Smart notifications: Reminders fire automatically for confirmed attendees, 1 hour before and at the start time. Privacy controls: Decline an invite discreetly, keep visibilty under activities friends-only, or go fully private.…
