Last year, Turnover celebrated ten years of their beloved album Peripheral Vision . The band's last record was 2022's Myself In The Way , but they were announced as performers for this year's Bonaroo and Gov Ball . Now we know why: Their sixth studio LP, Down On Earth , is on the way. Down On Earth is Turnover's first independent release, which explains why it's coming in just a few weeks. The group was on Run For Cover since 2012. It's also their first record without producer Will Yip; this time they turned to their longtime front-of-house engineer Zac Montez. The singles "I See You And Realize" and "Nightjar" are here, showcasing Turnover's usual lackadaisical dream-pop. Along with their upcoming festival dates, the band has a tour coming up with Narrow Head and She's Green, plus a show at Red Rocks with Coheed And Cambria.
