A major factor in our decision to make an offer (and proceed with inspections) was that the listing specifically stated “new sewer line” as part of the improvements. In this area with older homes, that’s a pretty significant claim. Friend bought a house a few blocks away and had to spend a massive amount of money to get the sewer line replaced after purchase 6 months ago so this was top of mind.
