Which keyboard to buy? (synth action, many built-in sounds, works for 80's/90's cheese) I'm mainly a guitarist and I'm in the market for a "plug and play" keyboard, as opposed to the MIDI keyboard I have. The way I learned guitar was largely just *always having one to hand* and grabbing it in spare moments, so would be nice to not to have to get past the inertia of plugging it into my PC, starting my DAW, loading up plugins... (and being convenient for live use would be a nice bonus) The genres I'm most interested in is cheesy jazz fusion and metal, so a super high fidelity grand piano is less of a priority while a DX7 style electric piano and a Van Halen "Jump" synth is mandatory. The price point is a bit up in the air partially because I *don't know what's reasonable*, I've been glancing at everything from a 200$ Yamaha PSR-E383 and a 400$ Roland GO:KEYS 3 to a 900$ Roland Juno-D6 (...slash a cheaper used Juno-DS61).…
