During a recent appearance at the Warner Bros. Upfronts with his co-star Katherine LaNasa , Wyle shared when Season 3 is expected to take place. Every season of the Emmy Award-winning medical drama takes place over the course of a single 12-hour shift in Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center’s emergency room, with every episode comprising a single hour of the shift. “We’re about to start production on Season 3,” Wyle said, per Deadline . “It’s set in early November, just before the holidays, ushering in a whole new set of emergencies and confrontations and complications.” It has already been revealed that The Pitt Season 3 will also take place during a holiday, as Season 2 took place on the Fourth of July.
