Burnout from playing but bandmates want me to practice Hey y’all! My band and I practice every Wednesday and Thursday; beginning of this year we practiced up until a point where we found out we weren’t allowed to perform at an event. After that week we still went on to practice as usual for another month and last week we performed. I expected us to take another one week break but they all wanted to learn the song “One Way or Another” and I’m totally behind, I haven’t touched my bass at all, I’m exhausted, busy, depressed, and already missed one practice going on two. If I’m being honest, I didn’t even know we were supposed to learn that song (group chat always going “let’s play this! Let’s play that!) and I always lose track of what songs they want us to learn.
