“I’m the first trans woman hosting the Met, so this is a big moment.” So said supermodel Alex Consani while speaking to La La Anthony during the Vogue livestream at Monday night’s Met Gala at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art. Consani made the most of her historic moment as the first trans co-chair by hitting the beige carpet in a Gucci gown and white faille cape by the house’s creative director Demna, who was reportedly inspired by Sandro Botticelli’s Primavera. Consani stepped out on the carpet, draped in the luxe cape that exposed bare shoulders.
