Dan Taylor will become the next chief executive of the Melbourne Football Club after the Demons sacked Paul Guerra on Tuesday , just seven months into the role. The Demons are expected to make the announcement on Wednesday, according to an industry source with knowledge of the appointment. Stan’s managing director Dan Taylor. Taylor is not expected to take on the role for several months, with long-time veteran administrator Brian Cook to act in the interim. Club president Steven Smith and Cook will hold a press conference at 10.30am on Wednesday. Guerra was left “puzzled” and blindsided by his axing on Tuesday.
