I had a dream this morning before the alarm. I led an army and had just conquered and taken over a castle. I saw siege engines and the remains of a great battle as I rode through on my horse. I remember thinking that it must have been divine providence that had tipped the battle my way - maybe an earthquake shook the enemy at a critical point.<br /><br />And then I was standing on a mansion's second floor balcony overlooking the skyscrapers of a city. Fire licked the lower floors of some and the sun burned bloody through the clouds of smoke. I heard sirens as the firemen tried to save as many as possible. An obsidian skyscraper collapsed in a great rumble. Christina stood next to me, unafraid. We joked with each other, "At least that improved the view."<br /><br />The tallest blue skyscraper seemed to light up from within. It had a rounded cube on top, probably someone's multi-floor penthouse. The cube exploded and the skyscraper sagged to one side as if deflating.…
