The Eurovision Song Contest will get underway in Vienna, Austria, next week, with delegates from 30 countries competing for a spot in the grand final. A total of 35 countries are taking part this year, but host country Austria and four of the “Big Five” countries – United Kingdom , Italy, France and Germany – are guaranteed a spot in the final. However, their delegates will still get to perform during the semi-finals taking place on Tuesday 12 May and Thursday 14 May.
