Oracle Corp. just linked its cloud infrastructure to Amazon Web Services in a move that hands enterprises direct, high-speed paths between the two giants. Announced April 16, the plan ties Oracle Interconnect to AWS Interconnect-multicloud. Customers get a private, managed link. No more juggling multiple providers. No physical hardware hassles. And data flows fast for AI workloads. This isn't Oracle's first dance with hyperscalers. They've wired OCI to Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud before. Now AWS joins, planned for rollout later this year in AWS's US East (N. Virginia) region.
