For a long time, I thought I was just tired.

Photo by Annie Spratt on UnsplashNot the normal kind of tired.
Not “I need sleep” tired.
A deeper kind.
The kind where:
- You wake up without energy
- Small tasks feel heavy
- Even things you used to enjoy feel like effort
I kept thinking:
“Maybe I just need rest.”
So I tried.
More sleep.
More breaks.
More time off.
But nothing really changed.
The tiredness stayed.
And that was confusing.
Because on paper, everything was fine.
I was doing what I was supposed to do.
Following the right steps.
Making progress.
Staying consistent.
There was no obvious problem.
And yet…
Something didn’t feel right.
At first, I ignored it.
