We have officially played eight weekends in conference play and the standings are continuing to clear up. Of course, it helps that another thrilling week in the SEC was highlighted by multiple matchups between ranked teams. Those matchups all lived up to the hype, with teams such as No. 4 Texas and No. 6 Auburn taking two out of three from their respective opponents in pivotal three-game sets. It wasn't all rainbows and sunshine for the rest of the conference, however. Elsewhere, multiple teams that needed to win their own series failed to do so. And as a result, they're either facing worse odds to host a Regional or make the postseason altogether.
