Rudy Giuliani, the former mayor of New York City and attorney for President Donald Trump , said he had a “very significant spiritual experience” while hospitalized for viral pneumonia. Giuliani, 81, returned to his online show “America’s Mayor Live!” Wednesday after being hospitalized and placed on a ventilator earlier this month during a serious case of pneumonia that was made more complicated due to restrictive airway disease . “I also had a very, very – I believe – a very significant spiritual experience,” Giuliani said, claiming it occurred while he was “out of it.” The former mayor said he couldn’t say whether he was “headed for heaven,” but believed he was “headed for a trial” with St. Peter. However, Giuliani recalled, the judgment was interrupted by his late friend Peter J. Powers, who served as Giuliani’s right-hand man while running for mayor. Powers died in 2016 from lung cancer.…
