Netflix ‘s A Different World sequel series has been set for a fall premiere. No further specifics were revealed during the steamer’s Upfronts presentation on Wednesday. Fall is the perfect time, considering that’s when school is back in session. From showrunner and executive producer Felicia Pride, the 10-episode single-cam series A Different World follows Deborah (Maleah Joi Moon), Dwayne Wayne (Dwayne Wayne), and Whitley Gilbert’s (Jasmine Guy) free-spirited, well-intentioned, yet rebellious youngest child, as she enters her freshman year at Hillman College.
