Swimming while visiting Vegas ​ Maybe everyone already knows about this, but in case not, here you go. I just came back from a few days in Vegas. I stayed at the MGM Grand, and while I probably could have figured out swimming there, the pools didn't open until 9 and got crowded fairly soon after. So I wanted something more lap oriented. UNLV is not far from the hotel or the airport. I checked out their website and found the student athletic center will sell a day pass for $15 with some other good options for people who want to swim more. I didn't get a chance to use this until my last day. 8 min in an Uber from my hotel got me there, my carryon fit in a tall gym locker, and the pool was pretty great. Then another 8 min ride to the airport. Please tell our friends and use it yourself if you end up in Vegas. No towels provided. It took about 5 minutes to do the paperwork and waiver to get in. The locker room was functional but Lifetime does not need to worry about this as competition.…
