Jim Furyk has has admitted he would like golf icon Tiger Woods to join his Ryder Cup set-up for the 2027 contest at Adare Manor. despite Woods currently undergoing treatment in Switzerland following a recent car crash. Furyk, who will lead the United States team for a second time after their heavy defeat at Le Golf National in 2018, has previously served alongside Woods as a vice-captain. Woods is reportedly undergoing treatment in Switzerland after being charged with driving under the influence (DUI) following a car crash near his Florida home in March. Police found prescription opioid hydrocodone pills, used by Woods for pain management after multiple operations, in his possession. The newly appointed captain revealed he had held off contacting Woods out of respect for his recovery, but said he plans to reach out to him in the future about potentially being involved in next year’s Ryder Cup.…
