Israeli embassy attack: Failed asylum seeker Abdullah Albadri found guilty of attempted knife attack

Failed asylum seeker Abdullah Albadri has been convicted of trying to break into London’s Israeli embassy to launch a knife attack. The 34-year-old, who was born in Kuwait , has been on trial at the Old Bailey. Albadri was tackled by armed police after he leapt up the embassy fence armed with two four-inch knives in May 2025. Jurors were told he had tried to get into the grounds in Kensington , west London, to “exact revenge” for the killing of children in Gaza. On Friday, the jury found him guilty of preparation of terrorist acts and possession of two bladed articles. He was remanded into custody to be sentenced at a later date. The defendant, who was born into the stateless Arabian Bedoon tribe, said that he had been jailed and mistreated for campaigning for human rights in Kuwait.…
