Luxury builder buys land for $33M at Lake Las Vegas, unveils new waterfront project

Luxury homebuilder Blue Heron has bought land at Lake Las Vegas for more than $30 million for a new waterfront development. The Las Vegas-based builder, led by founder Tyler Jones, announced plans for Liora. The firm said that it was scheduled to break ground this spring on the project in Henderson’s Lake Las Vegas community. Liora is slated to feature one- and two-story homes, spanning from around 3,900 to more than 6,700 square feet, according to a news release. Property records show that Blue Heron purchased two peninsulas along the north shore of the man-made lake in March for about $33.3 million combined. One plot is around 15.6 acres, while the other is roughly 11 acres, property records show. In an interview, Blue Heron Chief Revenue Officer Eric Lent declined to comment on the purchase price but confirmed the land assemblage was for Liora. “It’s truly a beautiful piece of land,” he said.…
