Fireworks will light up the skies over the Strip and downtown Las Vegas every Saturday in June and July to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority announced Wednesday. The eight-minute fireworks display to be synchronized with a broadcast soundtrack will begin each Saturday at 9 p.m., and will involve different resort properties week to week. The largest of the displays will occur July 4 when nine properties along the Strip will launch a coordinated celebration.
