Hi guys. I bought this baby for 1,80€, it’s my first time having a cotyledon, especially fuzzy. When I took it out of the pot it came in, one of the two stems had dry roots and the other one had no roots at all. I transplanted it into an almost fully mineral mix, and at first the cuttings were so weak they looked like little rags lying in the pot. Now it seems like the top leaves have started to recover.

My question is: are the lower leaves deteriorating because the plant is using its energy to grow new roots, or am I overwatering it? I’m used to seeing that other succulents clearly dry out their lower leaves but here it’s not clear for me at all
