How far are your young kids biking? My husband and I are curious how far other people's young children bike. Our son (3) basically lives to bike. If he isn't sleeping or eating, we're out biking if the weather permits. He goes to school all day then demands we bike for three hours until bedtime and tells us it's his happy place and it makes him feel "SO HAPPY AND FREE". On Sunday we did a 27km (just under 17miles) ride through a mix of paved road and unpaved forest trails with an 88 meter elevation gain. Him doing hills is another story. Kid has legs of steel. We're very proud of his achievements and are so excited to foster his love of biking and physical activity. Our friends think he's nuts and are equally amazed and terrified of his motivation.…
