Kyoto police plan to rearrest a 37-year-old man on suspicion of murdering his 11-year-old son, whose body was found in a wooded area in Nantan, Kyoto Prefecture, last month, investigative sources have said.

The suspect, Yūki Adachi, had already been arrested on suspicion of abandoning the body of his son, Yuki Adachi, a student at Sonobe Elementary School in the city.

According to the sources, police believe the killing may have taken place in a public restroom about 2 kilometers from the family’s home in Nantan on March 23, the day the boy disappeared.
