MIS Career Pivot Advice I was a Data Scientist, which in practice meant doing a lot of data intake and not much else. My company in many ways had no tech expertise so I helped them set up a fair bit of infrastructure. I have been looking for jobs because I was laid off recently. I have roughly 5 years of experience across 2 different jobs and have found jobs that are more or less exact descriptions of what I was doing at my previous job, but opportunities don't seem to manifest. I understand things are rough right now pretty much everywhere, but I'm trying to see what's the best move I can make. I graduated with Business degree, majoring in Management of Information Systems. The top 2 skills that I have been able to make the most use of have been Python and SQL. I have made programs from the ground up by myself as well as cooperatively (using Git).…
