Maybe more of a rant but I'm really interested to hear how others are seeing what I'm seeing and what your experiences are; Just finished a stint with a high sensitivity, gov client. I was leading the security architecture as part of an assessment for an enterprise AI application. Great project, great people but the RBAC components have been a challenge. For example, there are about 5 different layers of authorization and authentication, for each of our deployment related components including but not limited to;, GitHub, kubernetes RBAC, hosting provider (cant say more but none of the big 3), and more. Not even touching the external llm access and filtering which is another layer. Each of these have their different interfaces and management planes AND RBAC,.making it a huge challenge to assess access control related stuff. I can't say more for obvious reasons. I just want to hear what others are seeing. Are you using enterprise SSO solutions or any other approach?…
