EXCLUSIVE: Writer-director Rex Bressler has locked cast for The Avoidant , his feature directorial debut, shooting in Los Angeles in mid-May. The call sheet includes Adam Goldberg ( The Equalizer ), Robin Tunney ( The Craft ), Jessie T. Usher ( The Boys ), Ian Ousley ( Avatar: The Last Airbender ), Carmela Zumbado ( You ), Brenna D’Amico ( Descendants ), and Joely Fisher ( Till Death ). The Avoidant is billed as a psychological thriller about grief, suicide, and the cost of avoiding difficult decisions. Further details as to the plot are under wraps.
