Published 3:30 pm Wednesday, May 6, 2026 A candidate for Jefferson County Sheriff is facing the loss of his law enforcement credentials. Tyler Anderson, who was fired from his job as deputy sheriff in 2025, faces accusations that he lied about his employment history as well as his relationship with an informant. The Jefferson County District Attorney added Anderson to the Brady List in 2025, which means that prosecutors cannot ethically call him to testify in criminal cases. Anderson said he will remain in the race for sheriff and that the accusations, and his inclusion on the Brady List, will not keep him from doing the job if elected. “It will have no impact for me,” Anderson said. “The only impact will be for the (district attorney’s) office on having me testify.” Anderson also said he and his attorneys hope to be able to overturn the listing “as soon as we get a new DA in there.” Anderson is currently challenging current sheriff Jason Pollock for the top law enforcement job in Jefferson County.…
