With the NSA warning Americans to reboot their routers, wouldn't it just be a better idea in terms of technical security to just reflash the firmware on your router to something open source? I have a TP Link AX-1500 that I bought last year at Walmart. Is it possible to load something like OpenWRT on it instead of rebooting? That way I can be 100% certain I know exactly what's running on it.
