A gunman was taken into custody following a nine-hour standoff with cops after he allegedly took a woman hostage in an affluent Beverly Hills neighborhood. An automated license plate reader identified a pick up truck belonging to a suspect wanted in the attempted murder of a sheriff’s deputy, the Beverly Hills Police Department told the California Post.
