If we're talking funny medical stories, well... When my husband and I first moved in together, one night we went out and got absolutely feral on the town. The next morning, he was wildly hungover. We didn't have any Tylenol or Advil, so I asked if he wanted some Midol. In my defence, I figured it still had pain relief and anti-inflammatory ingredients, so what's the difference? So yeah, he took it. Fast forward to him having an anaphylaxis allergic reaction to it, ending up in an ambulance, and getting rushed to the hospital. Then...we had to spend the entire day explaining to every new nurse and doctor who walked into the room that he was having an allergic reaction…to menstrual cramp medication. Everyone had a good laugh every single time we had to explain it again to the newest medical professional walking into the room. Safe to say, my husband has never taken Midol since. But honestly, he's far from the only person with a bizarre ER story.…
