So for context I'm currently diagnosed with ADHD, but I just feel like that isn't enough to capture what I'm going through. I have all the DSM-5 autism symptoms, so if I really pushed for it then I could probably get diagnosed, but another part of my mind is always like: "Well my childhood was pretty normal", "it could also be trauma and anxiety or something..." It's like I don't feel autistic enough to be autistic, but not nt enough to feel "normal", and I'm constantly gaslighting myself. I'm fairly high functioning so I'm just struggling to see myself as autistic. Is this something most of y'all go through? submitted by /u/Adept_Passion7248 [link] [comments]
