(Credit: Mythri Movie Makers/ X) A long-running disagreement between Telugu film producers and theatre owners over the revenue-sharing model has escalated, with the Mythri Movie Makers-presented film Jetlee losing screens on its opening day in Telangana. The reason had nothing to do with the film itself. Mythri Movie Makers, which presented Jetlee, has refused to accept a percentage-based revenue-sharing model that a group of exhibitors in Telangana are now demanding. Those exhibitors on Friday responded by simply not scheduling the film. Amid all the chaos, Peddi, Ram Charan’s next film, is due on June 4. That is the problem Telugu cinema is now staring at because Peddi will be distributed by Mythri Movie Makers.…
