Review-Journal activates primary election voter guide, an online resource for voters

Primary election season is here, which means the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s voter guide is online. Every two years, the newspaper sends out questionnaires to local, state and federal candidates, allowing them to share their background, qualifications and policy positions in a single, easy-to-navigate location. It’s a one-stop shop that allows candidates to state their positions in their own words, and allows voters to research multiple contests to inform their ballot choices. You can access the guide to the June 9 primary election at lvrj.com/voterguide. Although the guide went live Tuesday morning, participation has thus far been limited. Questionnaires were sent out in April to email addresses on file with the Clark County Election Department, the secretary of state’s office and local city clerk’s offices.
