And the more I dug into it, the more one pattern kept showing up, businesses that get recommended by ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google’s AI aren’t necessarily the best in their field. They’re just the easiest for AI to trust. That hit me harder than I expected. Because it means you could be running an excellent business, delivering real results for your clients, and still be completely invisible in AI search, not because you’re bad at what you do, but because AI doesn’t have enough to go on.
