Hi Expats, I’m American, francophone, living and working in Paris for a while. Recently got an attractive job offer in Luxembourg. The setup seems hybrid friendly, either a few days a week in office, or a week in office + a couple weeks remote. I have family reasons to stay in Paris; I’m looking to keep our life as stable as possible. Can anyone speak to the Paris-Luxembourg commute, on either a weekly or monthly basis? Any train/transport optimization tips? Would it be completely unhinged to drive? In terms of housing, I’m seeing hotels roughly on par with Airbnb and other short term rental sites. Is that about right? No visa issues and I have a good, international accountant, so not looking for visa or tax advice. Thanks in advance ! submitted by /u/ak496 [link] [comments]
