R Mason Thomas didn’t have to wait long to hear his name called on Friday. He was selected in the second round of the 2026 NFL Draft with the 40th overall pick by the Kansas City Chiefs. Despite missing much of OU’s November run with an injury, he still finished this past season with 26 total tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks.
