I'm sort of stuck. We activated in December just before the IRS 'deadline' and have come to learn over the past week+ that our installer decided to go out of business AND that they did not follow-through on signed paperwork.

We originally signed with one of the REC brokers just out of simplicity. But now that I'm learning that paperwork was never submitted, well, I'm exploring DIY for either SMART 3.0 or RPS Class I / Class II.

Has anyone DIY'ed this and have anything to share?

Regarding SMART 3.0, I'm getting mixed signals on whether our inverter's RGM qualifies, if not, what it would cost to retrofit our brand new system, and whether there really are Rooftop and Battery adders that would make 3.0 more attractive. Anyone go down the 3.0 path?
