I can confidently say that Andor has become one of the most beloved stories set in the Star Wars universe primarily due to the sheer quality of the outstanding writing by Gilroy & Co. Thinking about how such a big risk paid off dividends for Lucasfilm, wouldn't it be amazing if we got another series of the same tone, quality, and length featuring the incredible Genevieve O'Reilly as our favorite Senator experiencing the unimaginable tragedy of seeing the rise of tyranny again in The First Order? We know Kleya Marki and Vel Sartha are alive and well at the end of Andor, and there are so many new characters and threads possible that can illustrate the difficulty of attempting to re-establish a republic after a tyrannical empire. And what an opportunity to write Mothma's character having to endure the tragedy of having to see liberty fail again as The First Order comes to power. Such great potential here! submitted by /u/lordmolotov [link] [comments]
